Job Summary
The Financial Accountant is responsible for managing and reporting the company’s financial data with accuracy and integrity.
This role involves preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledger accounts, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Financial Accountant also supports budgeting, auditing, and forecasting activities, providing financial insights to assist management in strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of financial operations — from budgeting and forecasting to invoice management and payment processing.

Provide core financial, business, and administrative support to enable departments to work efficiently.

Ensure smooth and effective financial and administrative operations.

Handle Petty Cash, Credit Card Expenses, Cash Imprest, non-PO payments, BVR, and asset management (tagging, inventory, tracking).

Prepare Funds Available Reports, staff and non-staff cost summaries, payroll, accruals, GL reports, and forecasts.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement).

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support internal/external audits.

Prepare and file tax returns; ensure timely tax payments.

Analyze financial trends, risks, and opportunities; provide insights and recommendations to management.

Support operational and administrative processes, including travel logistics, procurement, telecom, and general services.

Manage procurement activities: stationery, service tenders, supplier evaluation, and purchase order management.

Maintain accurate records and reconcile all financial data.

Coordinate efficiently with other departments to ensure compliance and process efficiency.

Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant full-time work experience (preferably in an educational or corporate environment).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication in Arabic and English.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics, and MS Office applications.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
